We are a non-denominational body of believers seeking to glorify God and create disciples of His son the LORD Jesus Christ. Calvary Chapel has been formed as a fellowship of believers in the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Our supreme desire is to know Christ and be conformed to His image by the power of the Holy Spirit.
We are not a denominational church, nor are we opposed to denominations as such, only to their over-emphasis of the doctrinal differences that have led to the division of the Body of Christ.

MEET OUR PASTORS
PASTOR DAVID & MARY JANE
Dave Diaz was born in Newark, New Jersey in 1967 and raised in Miami, Fl where he accepted JESUS as his Savior around the age of 12 years old. As a young man, Dave would love to read his Bible where he would focus on learning the Teachings of JESUS. At the age of 23, Brother Dave moved back to New Jersey on a business venture not knowing that the real reason The Lord had led him back there was to meet and marry his now wife of 17 years, Mary Jane. In 1999 after moving back to Miami, David and Jane became the proud parents of a daughter by the name of Isabella.
In 2008 Dave was introduced to the Calvary Chapel movement at Calvary Chapel West Kendall Campus where he served on the setup team for 2.5 years. It was there that the Holy Spirit began to minister and change Dave’s heart towards ministry.
PASTOR VINNIE & KERRY
Pastor Vinnie was saved through the Calvary Chapel movement in the late 1980s. Vinnie, who used to be a drug dealer, was invited to church by his mother to meet some people. He attended a mid-week Bible study and began questioning the Bible and his faith. After several months of hearing the word of God being preached, Vinnie prayed for God to reveal Himself. God answered Vinnie’s prayer and opened his eyes through a series of undeniable events. However, Vinnie also wanted to understand why he believed what he believed. He went to Calvary Chapel Bible College in Twin Peaks, CA, to study the Bible, not intending to become a pastor or to preach. Vinnie left college in his last semester because it was his turn to do devotional work at school, and he never spoke in front of a class at any grade level.

After leaving college and pursuing a successful business life, Vinnie was called into the ministry. He moved to Key Largo and began serving at a local church in the youth ministry, where he met his wife Kerry of 25 years. Together, they served as youth leaders. Eventually, Vinnie was ordained and Kerry stood by his side. God called them to Homestead where they continued their success, leading many people to the Lord. Eventually, they became the senior pastors of the church and Faith Fellowship School.
Feeling led in the late 2000s, Vinnie joined his congregation with another, where he served as a pastor for a few years. Eventually, he left his position to focus on the school and his family. The school continued to grow into what he describes as the best thing he’s been a part of. Thinking his calling to pastor in a local church was over, God threw a twist his way. Vinnie met David and through prayer and much affirmation, they decided to start a new venture, Calvary Chapel Homestead, where they now co-pastor and allow God to lead this new work.
